Exchequer Software named Financial Software Provider of the Year

Exchequer has won the prestigious 'Financial Software Provider of the Year (smaller implementations)' in the inaugural Real Finance/CBI FDs' Excellence Awards.

Winning the award is a real achievement for the company who had to prove their commitment to meeting the 'real needs of real businesses'. Over 350 finance directors took part in the 2005 survey answering questions in great detail about how happy they are with the companies supporting them. Commenting on Exchequer's success in the 'Financial Software Provider of the Year' category, Richard Young, Editor and Publishing Director of Real Finance, said "A strong short list and a large field of contenders, but Exchequer were well clear." We have reduced our reporting timetable by 40% and the package has enabled us to provide online access to the financials for all our operational managers."

The announcement of Exchequer's win comes just weeks after its acquisition by the IRIS Group.
