Stock
Control and Bill Of Materials
In addition to addressing the important issues of stock levels and
valuation, Enterprise's stock control module adds an extra dimension
to management information.
The interactive stock drill-down provides a unique view of your
stock groups, sub-groups and stock items. There are no limits to
the number of levels of groups and sub-groups that can be set up.

At each level, right down to each stock item, you can view sales
and margin trends for any period and year, optionally split by any
currency. You can also display graphs and pie charts of this valuable
data.
As with all other graphs and period history windows throughout
Enterprise, you can drill-down to the source transactions should
you need to interrogate any high or low points.
The stock record window gives access to all information relating
to each product, including a notepad with alert alarms, a quantity
break pricing matrix, a ledger card showing all historical transactions,
serial/batch number history and finally, where appropriate, the
bill of materials list.

Stock levels are maintained in real-time and the stock ledger
card lists all transactions which have ever affected that stock
item, including sales and purchase orders. You can drill-down from
the ledger to view any transaction in full.
Serial and batch number tracking* can be performed on specific
stock items. Drill-down provides unsurpassed access to the original
transactions where a serial or batch item was bought, manufactured
and sold. Any notes regarding a particular serial numbered item
are also easily accessible.
Quantity breaks can be defined against each stock item, or as
part of individual customer discount matrices. Each quantity break
price can be based on a discount percentage, mark-up on cost, margin,
discount amount or a fixed price.
Bill of materials are simple and logical to set-up. There is no
limit to the number of nested levels of sub-assemblies. Flexible
options for pricing the finished goods and exploding component parts
on sales or purchase transactions are available.

Powerful back-to-back order facilities are available when using
bill of materials together with the sales and purchase order processing
module.
If used in conjunction with the works order processing module,
components can be marked as free issue and a production time can
be recorded against each bill of materials. Each stock item also
records the quantity that has been allocated or issued to a works
order.
