Fundamental to Exchequer design philosophy is the concept of
exception reporting. By allowing users to view headline figures
without the need to analyse all the detail at the same time, users
may then decide to investigate in more detail data for the relevant
area.
This same concept is taken to a further level using
Exchequer's very own
business alerts system. Examples of the type
of business alerts you may find invaluable are:
- Warn credit control and account manager when an account is
within any %age of credit limit
- Notify Account Manager and customer when an account is placed
on hold
- Notify Financial Director of seriously bad debts
- Notify sales people when payment is received from their
customer
- Warn Stock Manager and Sales Manager of goods nearing the end
of their shelf life
- Notify Financial Director if bank balance is nearing overdraft
limit, or reaching upper limit for transferring to deposit
account
Organisations can choose to monitor Key Performance Indicators
(KPIs) and ensure key personnel are informed proactively of any
deviations from these values.
