e-Business
Enterprise's e-Business module provides an electronic gateway to
a world of opportunities. It enables you to link your financial
system with many leading internet shopping cart systems, and gives
you the ability to send and receive transactions electronically
using email and XML, the industry standard method for sending data
across the internet.
The module can be used to provide a remotely hosted e-commerce
shopping cart system with regular updates of stock details, pricing
matrices, account information and even transactional data, such
as outstanding orders and invoices.
A timer system controls the frequency and periods during which
data is sent to the web-server. The format of data can also be determined,
from a simple CSV file to an industry standard XML file.

Incoming transactions are held in a 'quarantine' daybook for authorisation,
where stock codes, pricing and analysis codes are automatically
checked by the e-Business module and can be amended where necessary.
Email confirmations can also be sent from the e-Business module
once an order has been accepted.
For companies looking to streamline transaction processing in
a business-to-business environment, the e-Business module used in
conjunction with Enterprise's paperless module facilitates the ability
to send and receive transactions via email in the industry standard
eBIS-XML format, enabling simple "point-click-send" functionality
on sales or purchase based transactions.
